I've been using and maintaining firearms virtually all of my life. We have tried many different products in search of the "perfect" solution for cleaning, preserving, protecting and lubricating our guns. Years ago a friend from Zimbabwe introduced me to BALLISTOL. I'd tried the rest and finally found the BEST!
This product was developed by German Chemists for the German Army in 1904 as a "one product does all" to protect, preserve, and clean metal, wood, and even leather. My field experience is that it does ALL of the above!
Use this special oil to protect the finish of your Skinner Sights.
Skinner Sights in "BLACK GOLD"

SIGHT ADJUSTMENT PUNCH
Is hard to find.
This elegant tool is used to drift Skinner Dovetail Sights for Windage Adjustment and to remove and replace front sights and Dovetail Blanks.
Our punch has a special "FLAT" to glide along the bottom of the dovetail slot and give you a better puchase on the drifted sight. This is the same punch I have used for years and still use today in the Skinner Sight Shop
Shipped with the three sizes Hex Key Wrenches used to mount and adjust SKINNER SIGHTS. (.050", 1/16", 3/32) not shown
Protect the gun and use proper tools to install and adjust your SKINNER SIGHTS!
$20 "Safe Sided" Triangular File
One of our "Little Tricks" We use in the SKINNER SIGHTShop is what we call a "SAFE" sided file.
This is a standard 6 inch triangular file (60 deg) that has the teeth on one side ground off. Using this file allows you to file only on the "SLOPE" of the sight and not change the depth of cut.
You can do this to your own file or buy one from us. We offer them here for our customers convenience. (files can be hard to grind...) $20
THESE ENAMEL PAINT PENS WORK GREAT!!! (this is a short version of the full description found
I've been teaching Hunter Safety and Survival classes for over 20 years. One of the keys to OUTDOOR SURVIVAL is the ability to start a fire under any condition or weather. For years I've been carrying one of these all metal MAGNESIUM FIRE STARTERS. This fire starter has no limit to shelf life, will start hundreds of fires, and is always ready when you need it. (Unlike butane lighters that can leak/run out of fuel )
We recommend this as part of any survival pack.
$7 (Worth its weight in GOLD if you ever NEED it)

Davey Hook (Knife Builder and Owner of Hook Knives) is the son of one of my best friends (and hunting buddies). He has been building knives to fit the needs experienced through actual time in the field. I've watched Davey grow up and spent time in the field with him. He is a young man to "Ride the River with"
Davey and his father have been working together to develop the perfect sheath for this blade. Like the knife, the sheath is constructed of premium material (Kydex) and custom molded to each hand crafted knife for an exact fit. A lanyard eyelet is included for securing as needed.
Each of these knives is handmade and custom by nature. We will work to keep them in stock (And more models as they become available) but please allow
2 - 3 weeks for delivery. We don't want to rush quality!
