      This little sight is amazing!

S_Mark_MS_2Combined with our special mount, this reflex RED DOT sight allows the shooter to choose between our SKINNER APERTURE SIGHTS and an illuminated RED DOT at any time while afield.

We know that "electronics" are not really "John Wayne" style,
but  we  also  know  that  he  would  have  used  them  if
  they  had  been  available!

When I first saw this beautiful little REFLEX sight I thought...

"Now THAT would work great as a companion
               to our SKINNER PEEP SIGHTS!"

What I wanted was a LIGHT WEIGHT (2 Oz) SMALL (2") illuminated sight that I could remove and replace easily in the field.  We have specially modified a weaver style base, (small enough to be out of the way while using Skinner Sights), to fit the HENRY OCTAGON BARREL RIMFIRE rifles, the MARLIN 1894/336/1895, and HENRY 30-30/45-70 series of rifles.

This sight has TWO LEVELS OF BRIGHTNESS for dim light or bright sunshine.  The 3 MOA RED DOT is easily seen under any lighting condition.

             THE SIMPLE MOUNT
Henry_MS_2

FOR HENRY OCTAGON BARREL RIMFIRE RIFLES
(Using the two tapped holes located under the factory rear sight.)

336_MS_2

  FOR MARLIN MODEL 336/1895/1894 and
              Henry 30-30 / 45-70 Rifles
(Using two of the tapped holes located on top of the receiver)
(Will also fit other rifles with similar hole and receiver configurations)

Please Note:  The "Simple Base" is not available separately at this time

You can carry your Mini SHOT in a pocket or backpack and use it for special occasions such as "low light".  By using a consistent mounting method, zero will be fairly well maintained even after repeated removing and remounting of the sight.

(Loosen the side locking nut using a coin, remove the sight.  To mount the sight consistently, place the sight on top of the mount and lightly tighten the nut using fingers WHILE PUSHING THE SIGHT FORWARD against the recoil slot in the mount.  This will insure a consistent mounting that will not shift under recoil.  Then tighten to a firm consistent  pressure using a coin.  I have used this system for many years on rimfire handguns and found it to be REPEATABLE and RELIABLE.

OF COURSE THIS SIGHT FITS ON
                                       ANY WEAVER OR PICATINY BASE
